Case study
The overview
We partnered with a mid-size global medical technology company for respiratory care to support their transition from a distributor model approach to direct sales.
The challenge
Our partner wanted to stop outsourcing their commercial work and bring it in-house, therefore they needed our support to build a talented in-house team. Other agencies had failed to deliver on this project but with the good, long-standing relationship we already had with our partner, we were able to propose an exclusive model that captured their vision.
The solution
We assigned a project manager to ensure consistent contact with our partner to keep them updated on current timelines and our progress, and to continuously promote their message into the market of talent.
Our partner was looking to begin with 2 hires for their team to begin the transitioning period, 1 in the north and 1 in the south of the UK. Therefore, we reached out into our network and conference contacts and market mapped across these regions. We shortlisted and presented 12 professionals, taking 4 through to a final interview and finally making 2 placements, managing the whole process in accordance with our partners expectations.
The outcome
We successfully worked to all agreed timelines to ensure a smooth transition from one model to another.
Following the success of this project, we are now the sole provider for recruitment solutions for our partner. We successfully replicated the UK project in Germany and France, increasing their headcount and strengthening their presence in the market.
Additionally, as a result of this project, our partner also asked us to find a global education manager for their team whereby we sourced in the UK, Ireland, Germany and France, finally finding talent in Jersey. This was a jurisdiction that our partner was not familiar with and therefore communication was key, following up closely with both our partner and the talent to successfully make this placement.
We are continuing to work with the partner globally, having successfully supported them with another project in Japan.
