Proclinical broadens its network of offices by opening in Munich

Global life sciences staffing company, Proclinical, continues to widen their European footprint by putting boots on the ground in the City of Munich, Germany. After successfully launching in Frankfurt in 2019, this will be the second office in Germany for Proclinical and demonstrates the company’s commitment to growth in the DACH region which is a hotbed for life sciences innovation and research.

Part of the Acacium Group, Proclinical is setting up in Munich to meet the strong demand from biotechnology companies who are looking to expand their operations into Germany and Europe. According to Munich Business, 21% of German biotechnology companies work in the Munich Metropolitan Region, employing over 33,000 professionals and a quarter of all national clinical studies are carried out there. Impressive growth for the region, has meant the number of biotechnology jobs in Munich has doubled in the last decade, meaning companies are increasingly looking for support from staffing providers, like Proclinical.

Heading up the Munich office will be Associate Director, Max Slevogt, who joined the company earlier this year. Max Slevogt brings a wealth of experience in commercial headhunting and providing tailored recruitment solutions for pharmaceutical and biotech companies in central Europe, and is focussed on scaling up the Munich team.
