Proclinical is currently seeking a Sales Representative - Genomics - South Germany & Austria (f/m/d) who will be responsible of the sales of our Genomics products by supporting existing clients and winning new ones. You will be located REMOTE in the sales region.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop high level positive relationships with selected customers throughout the client's organization, from procurement to scientific staff, and use these relationships to develop strategies for customer development
- Strategically manage existing customers, to help protect & develop our existing business
- Find opportunities for new products in Genomics and gather market intelligence and feedback to the team
- Perform all sales activity within the assigned geographic territory such as customer site visits, telephone contacts, trade seminars and shows, customer seminars and channel management.
- Increase awareness of products by coordinating and attending exhibitions, seminars and other events and conducting direct marketing initiatives alongside other promotional activities as required
- Close new business deal by coordinating requirements with the back-office team
Skills and Requirements:
- Educated to a higher degree in Biology, with a strong background (scientific and technical) in Molecular Biology. An experience in NGS is highly desirable
- A Master's degree or PhD is an advantage
- Previous experience of technical selling within the Life Science, Industrial and/or Academic sector, is not mandatory.
- Fluency in German and in English is mandatory
- Good communication and presentation skills are need and good organizational skills (time and territory management) suitable.
- Passion, team spirit, a self-motivated and results driven personality, who enjoys working on their own as well as part of a team is crucial in this role
