Proclinical is seeking a dynamic and experienced MSAT Director for Biopharma to lead a dedicated team and manage relationships with CMO partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful transfer of products, driving tech transfer, hitting key milestones, and supporting the diligence part of the M&A process. This role involves leadership in process optimization, technology transfer, and providing technical support for a range of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive projects forward, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across our partner CMOs to ensure the delivery of key projects.
  • Develop departmental strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Oversee the transfer of processes, ensuring comprehensive documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  • Provide ongoing technical support for manufacturing operations, addressing process deviations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with industry regulations (FDA, EMA, etc.).
  • Participate in regulatory inspections and audits, providing necessary documentation and technical expertise.
  • Work closely with quality teams to ensure compliance and product quality.
  • Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation effectively.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, Biochemistry, etc.)
  • Extensive pharmaceutical industry experience with biologics and/or small molecule manufacturing.
  • Strong background in driving process development and technology transfer.
  • Agile thinker who can adapt to situations of high-speed change.
  • Problem solver who can work through complex issues.
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Must demonstrate integrity and high ethical standards.
  • Previous demonstration of working effectively as part of a team with strong collaboration.
  • Results orientated and accountable for actions.
