Manufacturing Associate - Contract - Social Circle, GA

Proclinical is working with a Pharmaceutical company who are in search of a Manufacturing Associate to join their team for a contract role .

Primary Responsibilities:

This position involves working a 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour night shift. The role focuses on the preparation of media and buffer solutions, operating production equipment, and maintaining GMP standards.

Skills & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED with 1+ years of relevant experience, or higher education with no prior experience required.
  • Willingness to assist with housekeeping and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to carry up to 25 lbs., lift up to 50 lbs., and push/pull up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during 8 or 12-hour shifts.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs while wearing special gowning.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, twisting, reaching overhead, and squatting.
  • Ability to work in controlled environments with special gowning requirements.
  • Compliance with gowning requirements and wearing protective clothing.
  • Ability to work in cold, wet environments.
  • Flexibility to work multiple shifts, including weekends and overtime.
  • Ability to work in confined areas and clean room conditions.
  • May require immunization before performing work within the manufacturing area.

The Manufacturing Associate's responsibilities will be:

  • Prepare media and buffer solutions.
  • Operate Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place systems.
  • Assemble and operate filtration systems.
  • Operate general production equipment (e.g., pH and conductivity meters, autoclave, portable mixers).
  • Monitor and record critical process parameters.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment.
  • Perform sampling using aseptic techniques.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams.
  • Receive and distribute supplies into production areas.
  • Train and mentor other team members.
  • Assist in troubleshooting process problems and responding to alarms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
