Payroll Specialist

Proclinical is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processes across multiple countries. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations in compliance with local requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate with HR, finance teams, and external providers to deliver high-quality payroll services.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with HR and payroll providers to ensure accurate information flow and timely payroll processing.
• Conduct month-end payroll activities, including journal preparation, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with local tax payments and regulations.
• Implement controls to capture and reconcile monthly changes.
• Facilitate payroll-related meetings and presentations.
• Provide accurate reporting to internal and external agencies.
• Prepare employee and payroll tax payments.
• Maintain control documentation, process flows, and procedures.
• Drive efficiencies and process improvements.
• Manage the Payroll SPARC system for timely communication.
• Coordinate with external providers on specific payroll treatments.
• Work with audits to ensure payroll integrity.
• Assist with project-related activities as needed.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Proficiency in Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate payroll processing.
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver timely results.
• Commitment to customer service excellence.
• Skills in process analysis and improvement.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Problem-solving abilities to translate business needs into solutions.
• Ability to work in a diverse, multi-functional environment.
• Preferably IPASS qualified or international equivalent.
