Manager of Financial Reporting and Consulting III - Contract - Lexington, MA

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and strategic individual for the role of Manager of Financial & Strategic Planning.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role is pivotal in shaping the financial and strategic plans of the organization, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. The successful candidate will be a bridge between different time zones, supporting teams in Fremont, CA, and interacting with leadership in Denmark. Occasional travel to Fremont, CA, may be required.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business or equivalent.
  • Experience in the Pharma/Biotech industry is preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; highly proficient in Excel-based modeling.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience with financial planning and reporting systems, ERP systems, and data visualization tools.
  • MBA or CPA is a plus.

The Manager of Financial Reporting and Consulting III's responsibilities will be:

  • Run the financial planning and forecasting processes to support strategic planning and business decisions.
  • Collaborate with department heads, Finance leadership, and Human Resources to drive enterprise-level financial, headcount, and strategic planning.
  • Develop annual budgets and mid-year forecasts, including management presentations and corporate leadership reviews.
  • Provide insights into financial performance and trends to senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to monitor key metrics and KPIs.
  • Support continuous improvement within finance to streamline processes and reporting.
  • Assist accounting during month-end close with accruals and variance analysis.
  • Support capital review and approval process.
