Proclinical is seeking a dedicated legal professional to focus on divestments and contract manufacturing business matters. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in providing legal services and guidance, particularly in M&A transactions and complex contract negotiations. This temporary position offers the opportunity for hybrid working, with some office presence required.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice on divestments and contract manufacturing matters.
- Assist in M&A deal preparation and execution, including structuring and negotiation of agreements.
- Identify contractual risks and manage potential disputes with partners.
- Collaborate with colleagues across various departments such as Tax, Regulatory, IP, and IT.
- Coordinate and oversee divestment cases with external law firms.
- Contribute to the development of standards and templates for CMB and divestments.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer in the UK or a European jurisdiction.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with strong knowledge of civil and contract law.
- Expertise in M&A and technical pharma agreements.
- Excellent communication, research, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence others.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
- Integrity, professionalism, and a service-minded approach.
- Willingness to travel as required.
