Proclinical is seeking a Biomedical Engineer specializing in Digital Biomarkers to join our client's team in Basel, Switzerland. This role focuses on leveraging mobile technologies to collect and analyze sensor data from clinical trials and care settings. You will play a crucial role in developing and validating digital biomarker algorithms and supporting data analysis efforts.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.
Responsibilities:
- Support digital biomarker evidence generation with data analysis and statistical expertise.
- Perform sensor time-series analysis to enhance and validate digital biomarker algorithms.
- Organize and document data from various sources to facilitate analysis.
- Manage work packages, including planning, risk assessment, and communication of progress and results.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of sensor data processing pipelines.
- Participate in analytical validation analyses.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Master's degree in biomedical engineering or related technical fields.
- Experience with time-series analysis techniques such as FFT, peak detection, and filtering.
- Proficiency in applying statistical methods like ICC, Bland-Altmann plots, and linear mixed models.
- Skilled in Python programming, including libraries like Pandas, SciPy, and matplotlib.
- Knowledge of best software development practices, including unit testing and version control.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
