VP of Clinical Pharmacology - Permanent - Fully remote from within US

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacologist to join a dynamic global biotech team.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will lead all Clinical Pharmacology activities in the US. This role can be based anywhere in the US and requires extensive travel.

Skills & Requirements:

  • PhD in Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, or related field.
  • Extensive experience within clinical pharmacology, pharmacometrics and modeling and simulations.
  • Experience with the design and conduct of clinical trials and pharmacology data analysis.
  • Experience with preparing regulatory submissions for INDs, NDAs, and MAAs.
  • Knowledge and excellent understanding of global regulatory guidelines for clinical pharmacology.
  • Broad experience in oncology and immunology is preferred.
  • Based in the United States, willing to travel up to 50% both nationally and internationally.

The VP of Clinical Pharmacology's responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and integrate timelines and budgets for clinical pharmacology activities in alignment with overall company goals.
  • Generate and oversee the execution of the Clinical Pharmacology strategy for all development programs.
  • Collaborate with In Vivo Pharmacology and DMPK on the development of translational PK/PD models.
  • Lead in the design and analysis of First in Human (FIH) and other Phase studies.
  • Conduct compliant data analyses including noncompartmental analyses using validated software, modeling & simulation, literature data analyses.
  • Co-author and review clinical-regulatory documents.
  • Investigate, identify, develop, and optimize new methods & techniques in the field of clinical pharmacology.
  • Prepare and deliver scientific presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with Clinical Development Operations and Vendor Management to identify, select, and oversee vendors and CROs.
  • Engage in strategic communication with board, executive leadership, cross-functional leadership, and external stakeholder networks.

Compensation:

  • $300 - $350 per day
