Sr. Director, Clinical Pharmacology - Contract - Remote within US

Primary Responsibilities:

Proclinical is seeking a Senior Director of Clinical Pharmacologist to focus on the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic aspects of drug development, particularly for orexin agonist programs in sleep disorders. This role involves leading clinical pharmacology activities, providing technical expertise for regulatory submissions, and collaborating across various programs. Your leadership and communication skills will be essential in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This temporary contract position is based fully remotely.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, or related field.
  • Experience in clinical pharmacology within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Expertise in clinical pharmacology strategies and regulatory submissions.
  • Proficiency in PK/PD analysis and clinical pharmacology software tools.
  • Knowledge of study protocols and modeling for sleep disorders.
  • Familiarity with US and EU regulatory guidelines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly.

The Sr. Director, Clinical Pharmacology's responsibilities will be:

  • Lead and execute clinical pharmacology strategies for assigned projects.
  • Plan and direct clinical pharmacology studies with internal and external partners.
  • Utilize PK/PD modeling to support dose selection and safety assessments.
  • Oversee vendors for accurate PK data collection.
  • Apply modeling techniques to optimize study design and data analysis.
  • Draft sections of clinical study protocols and regulatory documents.
  • Present findings to stakeholders and collaborate across disciplines.
  • Coordinate with global teams through virtual and in-person interactions.
  • Author scientific publications and present at conferences.
  • Ensure high-quality data delivery from vendors.

Compensation:

  • $150 to $200 per hour.
