Director, Clinical Sciences - Contract - Fully Remote

Primary Responsibilities:
This position will provide scientific expertise and leadership to design and deliver clinical studies, supporting both new product development and existing products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scientific integrity and successful execution of clinical development programs.
Skills & Requirements:
- Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in hematology oncology is required.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and clinical development processes.
- Adaptability to manage multiple demands and shifting priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data review tools.
- Knowledge of global regulatory and safety requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
The Director, Clinical Sciences' responsibilities will be:
- Design and execute clinical studies, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Provide scientific expertise to propose, design, and execute research and development studies.
- Lead or contribute to protocol/program team meetings and external stakeholder engagements.
- Conduct clinical/medical data review and ensure patient safety through monitoring activities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop study documents and present them to governance committees.
- Author and review clinical contributions to study reports and regulatory documents.
- Liaise with external partners and seek out best practices.
- Prepare and present data externally at conferences and in publications.
- Develop training materials for site and CRA training sessions.
- Monitor clinical data for trends and contribute to data review plans.
- Ensure quality communication with sites and prompt responses to review boards and committees.
Compensation:
- $125 to $160 per hour.
