Senior Manager / Associate Director - Permanent - Newark, California

We are seeking a commercial and market research leader to join our client. This role involved overseeing the development of portfolio strategies for metabolic/obesity, immunology, and hematology assets.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will play a critical part in driving strategic decisions that maximize value creation and work closely with R&D to deliver transformational assets for patients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; master's or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong commercial experience, including pipeline management, launch strategy, and execution; experience in Metabolism, Immunology, or Hematology is beneficial.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience working across functional and geographic boundaries.
  • Strong scientific understanding, with the ability to translate scientific knowledge into strategic decisions.
  • High learning agility and ability to adapt to new subject areas.
  • Skilled at navigating complex discussions and influencing decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and commercial expertise across product lifecycles.
  • Global experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Pharma R&D process is a plus.

The Senior Manager / Associate Director's responsibilities will be:

  • Lead the development of portfolio strategies for metabolic/obesity, immunology, and hematology assets, providing commercial insights to drive value creation.
  • Develop target product profiles and provide strategic commercial input into product development and clinical study decisions.
  • Leverage market research, business intelligence, and analytical insights to understand market dynamics and unmet needs within the portfolio.
  • Engage externally with customers and stakeholders to uncover innovative strategies that fuel growth.
  • Utilize technology-driven solutions to improve patient outcomes.
  • Provide insights into market dynamics, treatment paradigms, and identify key unmet needs in target disease areas.
  • Develop integrated strategic plans for key assets, focusing on unmet needs and commercial opportunities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Research & Discovery, Clinical, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs.
  • Use market research to inform and refine portfolio and asset strategies.
  • Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and adapt strategies as needed.

Compensation:

  • $200 000.00 - $ 210 000.00 Per Annum
