SAP/IT Application Support - Basel, Switzerland

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated SAP/IT Application Support professional to join our team in Basel, Switzerland. In this role, you will be the primary contact for business applications, providing essential support and training to users worldwide. Your expertise will be crucial in managing SAP S/4HANA, PRO. File, Salesforce, and other key applications.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the ticket pool, assess, qualify, and resolve customer inquiries at 1st and 2nd levels, or coordinate resolution at 2nd and 3rd levels, while tracking incident progress.
• Administer existing customer inquiries, including monitoring processing status and conducting proactive follow-ups.
• Continuously improve systems by independently implementing change requests and leveraging insights from support activities.
• Customize the system landscape routinely, focusing on SAP ERP (all modules) and Pro.File PDM, as well as various peripheral systems (SAP C4C, Concur, SuccessFactors, and non-SAP applications such as Salesforce, Jira, Orbit.Online, etc.).
• Develop in-depth knowledge of the organization and industry to provide expert advice to specialist departments on process and system issues.
• Conduct basic and advanced training sessions for employees.
• Support system updates and create/update test plans.
• Manage external partners and coordinate activities between consulting firms.

Your Profile

• Experience in at least two SAP modules.
• Familiarity with ITIL, agile methodology, and collaboration with external consultants.
• Skills in debugging, short dump, and log analysis are advantageous.
• Initial experience with integration technologies such as IFlows, web services, IDoc, or RFC.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
