Head of IT

Proclinical is seeking a Head of IT to oversee the entire IT infrastructure, including the Infrastructure, Helpdesk, and Digitalization teams. The role involves strategic planning, driving digitalization, leading cloud migration, ensuring system integration, and maintaining IT security. This role will also handle IT budget planning and reporting, ensuring smooth technical communication and optimal equipment for all employees.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the entire IT department, leading the Infrastructure, Helpdesk, and Digitalization teams.
• Ensuring IT infrastructure is excellently set up for future growth, providing a safe and reliable infrastructure.
• Planning strategically according to thier corporate goals, anticipate new requirements, and react agilely.
• Driving digitalization forward with your team as an IT business partner of the specialist departments, providing employees with state-of-the-art tools.
• Leading the migration to and integration of cloud solutions, using new technologies to implement your IT strategy.
• Ensuring that the systems are integrated, automating processes and interfaces.
• Responsible for smooth technical communication between our locations.
• Ensuring IT security policies and procedures
• Plan and monitor the IT budget, create reports, and present them to top management.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in a dynamic environment.
• Passion for IT and stay up-to-date with the latest developments, tools, and technologies.
• Possess excellent analytical skills, combined with strong conceptual and entrepreneurial thinking.
• Demonstrate a high degree of initiative, an independent and result-oriented working method, and a hands-on mentality.
• Inspire your team and enjoy leading and developing teams without losing touch with the details.
• Good communication and organizational skills and are used to juggling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Fluent in German and English (at least C1 level).
