QC Analyst

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated QC Analyst to join the team in Neuchatel. The successful candidate will be the primary contact for the QC laboratories, ensuring they have all necessary samples, stabilities, and articles for analysis. This position requires flexibility in working hours, including some weekends and on-call periods, to maintain high-quality standards across various units.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the control, aliquoting, identification, recording, distribution, storage, or destruction of samples following operational procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Ensure adherence to reception, processing, and distribution protocols.
• Document and report any deviations observed upon sample receipt.
• Complete and record sample attributes in the appropriate systems within set deadlines.
• Handle backup samples, including recording transfers and performing outputs and destruction as requested.
• Coordinate sample dispatch to external sites or regulatory authorities.
• Prepare cryotubes for production area sampling when needed.
• Participate in validation protocols and stability studies, managing samples from reception to analysis or stabilization/destruction.
• Manage laboratory consumables and reagents stock, ensuring timely orders and replenishment.
• Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of equipment, monitor temperature alarms, and ensure accurate log-book completion and review.
• Support QC teams with non-testing tasks such as solution preparation, freezer transfer, and autoclaving.
• Uphold and enforce EHS rules, actively addressing any deviations observed.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Proficiency in French is mandatory.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work variable hours, including weekends and on-call periods.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and quality control procedures.
• Competence in using laboratory management systems and equipment maintenance.
