Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and innovative Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a significant impact within the Life Science industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the planning and scheduling for a project, based on site in Visp at least 4 days per week.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and update the master schedule at various levels.
  • Track progress and measure delivery using various tools.
  • Maintain schedule basis documents.
  • Lead or assist teams in planning sessions and drive inputs to the schedule.
  • Monitor schedule deviations and assist in developing corrective actions.
  • Communicate progress and key milestones to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, critical path analysis, trending charts and schedule analysis.
  • Ensure schedule quality and credibility.
  • Actively involve in analysis of the integrated project schedules.
  • Review schedules with project team members regularly.
  • Prepare reports to provide status on the project schedule and critical project issues.

Key Skills and Requirements

  • Degree or advanced degree from an accredited college or university. Engineering, Science, Quantity Surveying, or Business Management degree preferred.
  • Excellent command of English. Business fluency in German is an advantage.
  • Experience as a project planner for large pharmaceutical projects.
  • Experience managing and working within a multi-user project environment.
  • Ability to interpret schedule data and articulate relevant information to senior management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working in a global environment.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical projects using Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning type contracts.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct analysis of complex/large data sets.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
