A pharmaceutical organisation is currently undergoing unprecedented growth and portfolio expansion. In preparation for the imminent strengthening and diversification of our assets list, we are currently recruiting for an Omnichannel Engagement Manager for our UK & Ireland affiliate. This is a truly unique opportunity to play a key role in the expansion and transformation of the company. This position will be core to the execution of the omnichannel marketing strategy across the company's portfolio with significant cross functional input across the UK commercial group as well as the Global Omnichannel Customer Engagement teams in HQ.

Essential to success would be understanding of marketing strategies throughout the product lifecycle and an innovative vision for customer and patient journeys. Ideally, we are seeking an experienced marketeer with digital campaign strategy and execution in this hands-on role. The role reports to the Head of Marketing and is based in Staines-upon-Thames (hybrid work).

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the planning, development, coordination, implementation, and evolution of the Omnichannel Customer Engagement (OCE) strategy and programs.
  • Developing and refining OCE processes and technological solutions.
  • Managing digital platforms and tools to support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Supporting the development and execution of campaigns incl. the development of assets in line with brand objectives and the company's OCE strategy.
  • Advising local Brand and customer facing teams on OCE topics and enabling effective use of OCE tools
  • Measuring and monitoring local OCE effectiveness (KPIs).
  • Ensuring understanding of, and adherence to, legal and compliance rules for OCE.
  • Acting as the key affiliate contact for global OCE, fostering best practice sharing and supporting global / local OCE capability building.
  • Play an active part with Cross-functional Teams in the Brand Plan Co-Creation Process.
  • Ensure team is updated with State-of-the-Art Digital resources/tools based on best-in-class practices within or without Pharmaceutical industry.

Key Success Measures

  • Agile and forward-thinking approach, plugging in expert strategic partners where helpful, demonstrated by delivery of leading omnichannel customer experience in the UK.
  • Provides and develops an internal hub of expertise to increase digital capability and effectiveness of Omni-channel interactions whilst maximising and optimising existing channels such as events, webinars, e-detailing and website design and usage ensuring alignment with Global/local marketing strategies.
  • Leverage of OCE to meet the KPIs identified for success.
  • Analyse digital data to inform future business decisions and optimise the patient/ customer experience, as well as supporting the brand and digital teams to continually improve and meet the commercial expectations of the organisation.

Minimum Requirements

  • University degree or higher education qualification(s) in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrable experience in relevant Marketing or Marketing Excellence roles (client or agency side).
  • Strong Project Management skills, including experience in managing multiple stakeholders, budget, employees, and vendors.
  • Robust knowledge of operations and processes specific to the pharmaceutical industry, e.g. Patient Journey, Portfolio Management, Product Lifecycle and Account Management.
  • Extensive knowledge of operations and processes critical to Omnichannel Marketing in Pharma (e.g. Closed-Loop Marketing, Customer Engagement Orchestration, Brand Planning, CME Plan development).
  • Experience designing, planning and delivering omnichannel / digital marketing campaigns, including measurement & reporting of campaign analytics & KPIs.
  • Mastery of customer engagement channels including, but not limited to, web/digital design & UX principles, website development and content management, email marketing campaigns and campaign management system(s), remote interaction tools, interactive detail aids and compliant field emails.
  • Good understanding of CRM systems ideally with multiple vendors.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to conceptualise and create executive level presentations.
  • Strong analytical skills.
