Lab Technician - Contract - Social Circle, GA

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Lab Technician for a night shift role in Social Circle, GA.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be involved in supporting the testing of biological, chemical, and physical analyses on pharmaceutical products throughout the manufacturing process. The role is crucial for ensuring quality control in analytical testing.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Proficiency in manual methods and instrumentation analyses.
  • Experience with analytical assays and laboratory equipment such as GC, HPLC, ICPMS.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical methods and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet critical timelines.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to train others.
  • Familiarity with software like TrackWise, Empower, and MiniTab.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and identify procedural discrepancies.
  • Willingness to work night shifts and supplemental hours as needed.

The Lab Technician's responsibilities will be:

  • Conduct biological, chemical, and physical analyses of in-process and final products.
  • Document and review test data, ensuring compliance with good documentation practices.
  • Enter data into LIMS and other computerized systems.
  • Perform advanced assays requiring precise analytical skills.
  • Complete all testing, including special projects, in a timely manner.
  • Maintain data integrity and compliance with SOPs, FDA, GLP, QSR, and cGMP regulations.
  • Investigate deviations and write exception documents.
  • Participate in team functions to improve production efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct general laboratory housekeeping and equipment maintenance.
  • Handle sample retrieval, logging, and data entry.
  • Work with chemicals and maintain safety procedures.
