Proclinical is seeking a Finance Enterprise Partner (FEP) to serve as a key business partner to a commercial organisation. The primary focus of this role is on new business and retention, with additional responsibilities including partnering with key business stakeholders and maintaining close contact with customers. The FEP will leverage their business understanding and financial expertise to build financially sustainable and competitive tender proposals, which are critical to delivering the commercial strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the business and support or co-lead the pricing strategy during the tender process with a commercial mindset.
  • Provide advice on financial implications of proposed tender solutions.
  • Ensure financials are on track to achieve targeted business results and metrics or advise on deviations and corrective actions.
  • Support the business and customers in co-creating new business models, quantifying value, and providing pricing transparency.
  • Play an active part in ensuring sustainable commercial deals by considering risk evaluation, competitor assumptions and proposing sustainable pricing strategies.
  • Consolidate large data from multiple suppliers in order to analyse and articulate advice on pricing proposals.
  • Stimulate behaviours across the organization aligned with financial objectives.
  • Monitor and manage customer performance via the contract life cycle with a profitability and outcomes-based perspective.
  • Propose & drive ideas for P&L improvement - upsell opportunities, efficiency/waste improvement, risk reduction, channel filling etc.

  • Entrepreneurial, commercial and customer-centric manner with an ability to put all available financial and operational information into a holistic picture.
  • Strong business and financial acumen. Experience working with and for the customer.
  • Passion for delivering tangible value for our customers, patients, and the business.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision maker.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a networked environment, cross-departments, stakeholders, and geographies.
  • Negotiation skills with an ability to support successful win-win outcomes.
  • Able to navigate a complex, challenging environment based on agile principles.
  • Knowledge and expertise of local healthcare system, market dynamics, and competitor landscape.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
