Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and innovative individual to join an enthusiastic team at a pioneering biotech company. The focus of this role is to provide operational and scientific support to the research team, contributing to the development of groundbreaking cell therapy treatments. Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prioritize daily workload to plan and conduct assigned tasks and experiments.
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the laboratory, including managing consumables, equipment maintenance, and laboratory reagent stocks.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and service providers.
  • Ensure safe disposal of laboratory waste and maintain safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures and provide technical support to the team.
  • Maintain Health and Safety records, conduct risk assessments, and ensure staff compliance.
  • Liaise with staff to perform techniques and protocols, including cell culture, cell preparation for flow cytometry, DNA/RNA isolation, and reagents aliquoting.
  • Contribute to ongoing projects, including oversight of specific areas.
  • Maintain good records of work carried out and provide clear data to other members of the research group.
  • Lead and guide the Laboratory Support team to optimize lab operations.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous approach to record keeping.
  • Good knowledge of laboratory health and safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as a key member of the team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to learn and undergo training in new techniques to support lab activities.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with experimental and analytical equipment used in a research lab (desirable).
  • Flexibility to work weekends (desirable).
