Associate CTSM - Contract - Rochester

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Associate for our Clinical Trials Specimen Management (CTSM) team.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operations of the CTSM team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our clinical trials and ensuring client satisfaction.

Skills & Requirements:

Knowledge of U.S. and foreign shipping requirements.
Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Compliance with all relevant regulations.

The Associate CTSM responsibilities will be:

Adhere to company policies and safety procedures to prevent exposure to biohazards.
Distribute specimens to the appropriate department for timely analysis.
Ensure client satisfaction by providing exceptional service to internal customers.
Handle shipping packages, including opening and sorting.
Enter receipt information into the ACM system.
Manage specimens under varying temperature conditions, including ultra-cold (-80°C) and liquid nitrogen (-196°C).
Prepare referral manifests and pack specimens for delivery to reference laboratories.
Maintain a clean and tidy working environment, including frozen storage unit maintenance and waste management.
Perform and document daily maintenance and monitoring functions as required.
Comply with all relevant regulations, including FDA, New York State Department of Health, Good Clinical Practice, International Air Transport Association, and others.
Perform other duties as assigned.
