Proclinical are recruiting for an Analytical QC Chemist to join a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

Support the training of the analysts within the areas of knowledge and in new strategies, SOPs and updates.
Trend such outcomes, record on COA's where necessary and accomplish OOS's investigations on a timely basis.
Offer analytical chemistry services and assist on Site.
Uphold, update and issue chemical strategies, specifications and SOP's in compliance to pharmacopeial and regulatory needs.
You will keep up to date in the QC team leader on possible issues and highlight improvements where possible by use of the normal communication means.
Guarantee that crucial chemical testing and linked equipment meets present validation needs such as IQ, OQ, PQ, etc., where necessary.
The ideal candidate will audit and evaluate chemistry test outcomes on a daily basis and ensure compliance with cGLP.
Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Educated to a degree level in a scientific field such as chemistry or biochemistry.

Demonstrable experience in a manufacturing setting.
