Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual for the role of Supply Chain Planner. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams including Supply Chain, Facilities, Quality and External Suppliers to manage and control inventory of materials. The primary focus will be to support Laboratory Operations and Quality Control release testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage warehouse inventory system and resupply requirements in line with production schedule.
  • Assist in generating part numbers and specifications for materials.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Finance teams to ensure timely supply of materials for quality control release testing requirements.
  • Request quotes from vendors based on production plan and testing schedules, and manage purchase requisitions in the ERP system.
  • Track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage inventory and transfer of chemicals/consumables to support laboratory operations as per forecast and consumption.
  • Assist Finance in establishing safety stocks for single sourced components.
  • Support the facilities team in the day-to-day operation of the Milton Park facility.
  • Collaborate with multiple functions to establish alternate suppliers.
  • Manage cycle count program.
  • Assist with investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and Change Controls representing Supply Chain.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Proven history working within Supply Chain with familiarity of ERP systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively towards common goals across departments and functions.
  • Effective communication skills and a strong team player.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Excel.
