Software Deployment Engineer

Proclinical is seeking an experienced Engineer to join a dynamic team. This position is instrumental in creating solutions for deploying software on advanced robotic platforms and putting these in place. The successful candidate will have a focus on creating efficient deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Automate software provisioning and configuration on robotic systems.
• Monitor and manage containerized applications on robots.
• Optimize deployment processes to meet the unique challenges of robotics hardware.
• Develop and manage deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools tailored for robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot robust deployment on robotic systems.
• Collaborate with robotics and software development teams to align and support deployment processes.
• Ensure high system reliability and performance for robotic operations.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in engineering or science which included robotics or computer science.
• Knowledge of automation tools, especially in embedded or hardware contexts.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration on resource-constrained systems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems administration and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with robotic hardware, edge computing, or embedded systems is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in deployment strategies for robotic applications.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to work on topics outside of formal expertise, such as resource-constrained systems and sensor data processing.
