Senior Platform Engineer - Permanent - Burlingame, CA
Proclinical is on the lookout for a Senior Platform Engineer to join an AI-focused biotech team. This is a permanent position located in Burlingame, CA.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be instrumental in leading the optimization and continuous improvement of the company's infrastructure. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and making a significant impact.
Skills & Requirements:
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining infrastructure at scale, preferably on AWS or Google Cloud
- Strong skills in Python, Bash, and Terraform
- Experience in leading a team working on high-impact infrastructure projects
The Senior Platform Engineer will:
- Enhance our job scheduling and workflow management system, which is written in Python on top of Kubernetes
- Refine scripts and procedures for testing, monitoring, and deployment automation
- Collaborate closely with machine learning engineers and computational chemists to optimize infrastructure for both research throughput and production robustness
