Senior Clinical Scientist (Director Level) - Oncology

Proclinical is seeking a Senior Clinical Development Scientist to support the advancement of clinical development programs in oncology. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in executing early-stage clinical studies, requiring excellent communication skills and attention to detail in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute medical and clinical strategies for assigned assets.
- Provide scientific and medical leadership in planning and conducting clinical trials.
- Review, analyse, and interpret clinical trial data, including biomarkers and safety data.
- Collaborate with clinical leads and CROs on trial activities and safety reviews.
- Liaise with clinical operations, data management, statistics, and regulatory teams.
- Author key study and regulatory documents.
- Lead or participate in internal meetings and advisory boards.
- Stay updated on pharmaceutical regulations and therapeutic area knowledge.
- Contribute to presentations, abstracts, and publications from clinical studies.
- Ensure compliance with ICH/GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or nursing qualification; advanced degree in life sciences preferred.
- Experience in clinical development within the oncology therapy area.
- Proficiency in developing clinical study documents and analysing clinical data.
- Knowledge of biostatistics, GCP, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing CROs and external vendors.
- Familiarity with regulatory submissions and authority interactions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
