Scientist, RNA Biophysics - Permanent - San Francisco, California
Proclinical is seeking a Scientist, RNA Biophysics to join a dynamic team in San Francisco.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will develop and implement methods for addressing ribonucleic acid (RNA) with small compounds and RNA breakdown agents, playing a crucial role in pioneering drug discovery initiatives.
Skills & Requirements:
- Expertise in RNA-targeted small molecule discovery and related screening technologies.
- Ability to evaluate and implement novel screening methods for RNA.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering results under tight timelines.
- Collaborative mindset to integrate advanced technology platforms with RNA biology.
- Experience managing workflows and coordinating with third-party laboratories.
The Scientist, RNA Biophysics' responsibilities will be:
- Collaborate with leadership to refine techniques for RNA-targeted therapies.
- Develop and implement RNA screening platforms and technologies, both internally and with external partners.
- Drive small molecule drug discovery processes, including hit identification, validation, and lead optimization.
- Work closely with drug discovery and machine learning teams to integrate workflows supporting RNA biology programs.
- Provide scientific leadership and manage laboratory activities.
- Partner with external collaborators to enhance technical capabilities.
- Regularly update leadership on project progress to facilitate decision-making.
Compensation:
- $130 000.00 - $150 000.00 Per Annum
