Scientific Editor II - Contract - Cambridge MA

Proclinical is seeking a Scientific Editor II who is passionate about the discovery, development, and commercialization of RNA interference therapeutics for genetically defined diseases.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role involves working closely with scientists and regulatory affairs departments on various nonclinical regulatory documents. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead scientific writing projects, ensuring clarity, consistency, and adherence to internal and external style guides.

Skills & Requirements:

BS/BA or higher in a relevant field.
Experience within drug development.
Proven history in scientific editing, writing or publications is preferred.

The Scientific Editor's responsibilities will be:

Collaborate with scientists on nonclinical regulatory documents such as Investigator Brochures, Nonclinical Study Reports, Annual Reports, CTAs, INDs, and NDAs.
Assume lead scientific writing responsibility on projects, utilizing regulatory and publication documentation expertise.
Write nonclinical study report drafts from templates and nonclinical portions of various regulatory documents.
Perform Quality Control review (data verification) for both Module 2 and Module 4 nonclinical documentation.
Write and edit nonclinical study protocols, reports, and summary document sections.
Create and maintain functional area content-rich templates.
Develop, communicate, and ensure adherence to project timelines, style guides, and templates.
Coordinate the nonclinical components on projects of narrow scope.
Review draft manuscripts.
