The company is based in and are looking for an experienced Research Nurse to join them on a short term contract.
As a Research Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating and conducting clinical research studies that contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the research team, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the successful execution of clinical research protocols.
- Assist in the recruitment, screening, and enrollment of study participants.
- Administer study medications and treatments, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Collect and accurately record research data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
- Monitor and assess study participants for adverse events and provide appropriate care and documentation.
- Educate and communicate with study participants, ensuring informed consent and a positive participant experience.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory documents to relevant authorities.
- Maintain study-related documentation and assist in the preparation of reports and publications.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for research activities.
- Ensure the safety, well being, and confidentiality of study participants.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Switzerland.
- Minimum of [X] years of clinical nursing experience, with a strong preference for experience in clinical research.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and an understanding of research methodology.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for clinical research (Swissmedic, ICH-GCP).
- Fluency in English; knowledge of German or French is a plus.
