Proclinical is seeking a Real World Evidence Medical Lead. This role will leverage expertise in health sciences and public health to support the development and launch of drugs. The successful candidate will be part of the Real-World Data & Evidence Science (RWD & ES) team, focusing on applying RWE and data science to solve business problems using real-world data.
Responsibilities:
- Run and oversee local strategies, ensuring alignment with global brand initiatives.
- Develop and put strategies into place to collect and analyse real-world data to drive research and business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate evidence-based insights and address key research questions.
- Upskill local teams through global initiatives and enhance the organization's RWE capabilities.
- Design and oversee observational studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and academic institutions for data acquisition and analysis.
- Analyse real-world data using advanced methods to provide meaningful insights for decision-making.
- Engage with external scientific communities and stakeholders to shape the acceptability and impact of RWE.
- Stay updated on the latest RWE methodologies and healthcare data trends to inform strategic planning.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Advanced degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, or data science.
- Business or management education is a plus.
- Proven leadership in end-to-end Real World Evidence (RWE) studies for regulatory or reimbursement submissions.
- Expertise in clinical/epidemiological research with a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience across multiple therapeutic areas, such as diabetes, cardiovascular, immunology, or rare diseases.
- Expert knowledge in RWE, with the ability to develop and execute evidence strategies aligned with business needs.
- Strong skills in collaboration, stakeholder management, and working within complex global teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Fluent in English and German.
