Quality Control Analyst: Microbiology - Contract - Philadelphia PA

Primary Responsibilities:

This role will support quality control testing operations, focusing on microbial testing of drug products. This includes tasks such as bioburden, endotoxins, mycoplasma, gram stain, environmental monitoring, and sterility techniques. We are looking for someone who can efficiently manage multiple priorities and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or equivalent.
  • Ability to work effectively with multi-disciplined teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and technical skills.
  • Proficient in managing multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
  • High level of ownership and accountability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with GDP, GLP, GMP, and cell therapy products is advantageous.

The Quality Control Analyst: Microbiology's responsibilities will be:

  • Conduct daily GMP Quality Control laboratory testing with accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform environmental monitoring of cleanroom areas.
  • Analyze data and report results of microbiology assays for product lot release.
  • Assist in technical problem-solving related to GMP Quality Control.
  • Support product stability programs through testing, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Contribute to the creation and revision of documentation, including SOPs, protocols, and reports.
  • Maintain high efficiency and produce accurate results.
  • Adhere to Safety SOPs, SDS sheets, and laboratory procedures.

Compensation:

  • $30 to $38 per hour.
