Quality Control Specialist - Contract - Minneapolis, MN

Proclinical is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team. In this role, you will focus on executing routine in-process, drug substance, and stability test methods. You will utilize various laboratory instruments and computer systems to collect and record data, ensuring smooth lab operations. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data integrity and compliance with standard operating procedures.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Degree in Life Sciences with relevant laboratory coursework.
  • Understanding of laboratory instrumentation and experience in a regulated environment preferred.
  • Effective communication skills with managers and peers.
  • Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and conversation.
  • Basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing and basic safety procedures preferred.
  • Eagerness to learn and continuously improve.

The Quality Control Analyst will:

  • Execute routine in-process, drug substance, and stability test methods.
  • Utilize laboratory instrumentation and computer systems for data collection and recording.
  • Maintain lab operations, including cleaning, ordering supplies, reagent preparation, and waste disposal.
  • Conduct facility monitoring and product tests, review data, and maintain laboratory materials and instruments.
  • Complete all testing, including special projects and protocol testing, in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, specifications, and cGMP regulations.
  • Support low-risk deviations, CAPAs, and change controls within the electronic Quality Management System.
  • Initiate and own laboratory investigations.
  • Participate in department problem-solving and author minor revisions to existing SOPs.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and calibrations as required.
  • Complete mandatory training within the required timeframe.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
