QC Technician - Contract - Indianapolis IN

Proclinical is seeking a Quality Control Specialist who is passionate about ensuring the quality of products through rigorous testing and inspection.

Primary Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be adept at using validated software for repetitive testing, conducting detailed analyses of finished products and performing investigations to ensure conformance to acceptance specifications. This role also involves supporting customer complaint evaluations and event reporting obligations. The ability to adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment and techniques to meet complex requirements will be crucial in this role.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced training in science, electronics, or another related field.
  • Experience working in a laboratory environment.
  • Knowledge on process improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Basic computer skills with competency in using standard software packages (Word, Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Thorough understanding of appropriate safety procedures.

The QC Technician's responsibilities will be:

  • Conduct analyses of finished products to determine conformance to accepted specifications.
  • Verify products to ensure they are qualified for production use.
  • Perform preventative maintenance procedures on test stands to ensure proper operations.
  • Conduct investigational testing of production and pilot material, as needed.
  • Perform stability testing to monitor product claims relative to product shelf life.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.
