Proclinical is seeking a Project Manager for EPCM Project in Process Plant Engineering. This is a permanent position based in Muttenz, Switzerland.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all technical disciplines and the planning and execution of technical activities
- Play a key role in the successful implementation of large-scale projects and will impart your specialist knowledge of process engineering in challenging situations.
- Responsibility for the implementation of the technical concept according to the project contract
- Execution and optimization of the plant design in consideration of project budget, schedule, company policies and standards, and customer specifications
- Organization of planning processes as well as progress determination and evaluation and ensuring the required quality in the project
- Responsibility for the coordination of technical disciplines, leadership and management of the engineering team (especially with regard to resources, tasks, deadlines and costs), support of the project team with technical know-how and in-depth specialist knowledge
- Creation of standards and project-specific engineering manuals in coordination with the client and internal interfaces
- Review and approval of services, including those of suppliers, for correctness and completeness as well as planning and management of FATs and SATs
- Creation, review, updating and approval of documents
- Monitoring and participating in the identification of project risks and the development of risk mitigation plans
- Moderation of project meetings and interface with the customer regarding all technical matters
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Completed technical studies with a focus on process engineering, plant or mechanical engineering or similar.
- Training in project management is an advantage
- Entrepreneurial thinking and customer orientation
- Several years of relevant professional experience in engineering management of large-scale projects, preferably in the pharmaceutical or chemical plant sector
- Comprehensive, interdisciplinary technical know-how as well as sound knowledge and experience in the engineering of industrial projects
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong leadership skills and team orientation combined with commitment and a hands-on mentality
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- German language skills required for internal communication within the company
- Work experience in the Swiss work culture desirable
- Willingness to travel (mainly in the DACH region)
