Project Lead Statistician - France

Proclinical are recruiting a Project Lead Statistician - France for a CRO. This role is on a permanent basis with the ability to work remotely from anywhere within France.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the preparation and authoring of the offers for statistical projects by guessing the workload and resources required.
• Monitor actions of the company's collaborators working on the statistical part of the project.
• Raise all concerns linked to the performance of the statistical actions while under supervision to the company's management and propose solutions.
• Arrange the project-connected duties of the statistics team working under own accountability.
• The ideal candidate will coordinate the workload between the biostatisticians.
• Guarantee that all tasks performed by the team working under own accountability are compliant to the suitable processes and are meeting the necessary level of quality.
• Serve as the main point of contact for the sponsor of the project.
• Offer feedback on the status of the studies and projects under supervision of the company's management.
• Other duties may be assigned to this role.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Educated to an advanced degree level in a scientific field such as computer science, life science or similar with post-graduate degree in statistics or biostatistics with at least 3 years of experience in a biostatistician role within clinical trials.
• At least 5 years of experience working within clinical trials to write protocols.
• Know-how of SAS as well as of any other statistical softwares such as JMP, R, etc would be beneficial.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Capable of explaining statistical knowledge to a varied audience.
• Works well in a team.
• A flexible individual able to work on diverse projects in several disease areas.
