Proclinical is working with a pharmaceutical organisation who are seeking a motivated Post Doctoral Scientist to join their team in Reading. In this role, you will be involved in high-impact research projects from discovery to advanced clinical development of Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADCs). Your work will support the creation of mechanistic PKPD, population PK, and systems pharmacology models for ADCs, contributing to transformative advancements in the field.

Responsibilities:

Establish a comprehensive and flexible framework (Clinical Utility Index) for modeling ADC PKPD and the Exposure-Response relationship in both preclinical and clinical settings.
Determine the appropriate dose and regimen to achieve a better therapeutic index and understand preliminary dosing requirements.
Develop a cellular mathematical model with a deep understanding of physiochemical properties, target product profiles, and the mechanism of action of ADC components (mAb, linker, payload, and conjugated ADCs).
Assess the molecule's therapeutic index by evaluating its affinity and half-life.
Potentially expand research to other antibody conjugates, such as siRNA conjugates (ARCs) or Radioimmuno conjugates (RICs).

Key Skills and Requirements:

PhD in Pharmacometrics, Pharmaceutical/Biomedical Sciences, Computational Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with relevant software such as R, Monolix, NONMEM, MATLAB, or similar.
Background in QSP, PK/PD, exposure-response modeling, or other modeling & simulation disciplines.
Self-directed and highly motivated with a desire to learn new techniques and pursue research and publication goals.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with presentation experience and a strong publication record.
Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
Understanding of pharmacokinetics and/or pharmacodynamic principles.
