Proclinical is seeking an Occupational Health Advisor to deliver a high-quality, reliable, evidence-based, and customer-focused Occupational Health service across various UK sites. This role involves leading strategic and operational matters, overseeing policies and processes, and managing the Occupational Health team to meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and make key decisions for the UK Occupational Health function and engage globally as required.
- Oversee all UK Occupational Health policies and processes.
- Manage clinical service delivery and the Occupational Health team across the UK.
- Ensure quality and governance within UK Occupational Health Services, maintaining accreditation with SEQOHS.
- Produce and share meaningful Occupational Health Services data and metrics with key stakeholders quarterly.
- Collaborate with Occupational Health, EHS, HR colleagues, and other stakeholders to enhance performance through innovation and trust.
- Direct and indirect line management of the UK team, ensuring quality standards and staff development.
- Provide leadership, coaching, mentorship, and supervision, overseeing staff objectives and performance.
- Critically appraise and evaluate academic and clinical documents for service delivery improvements.
- Respond to customer feedback, manage clinical incidents, and improve processes based on feedback.
- Implement and manage projects supporting the wider Occupational Health strategy in the UK and globally.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health.
- MSc/BSc in Occupational Health, safety management, or related health studies.
- Relevant clinical and management expertise to lead and supervise staff.
- Previous management experience.
- Experience in coaching and staff supervision.
- Ability to present relevant health data and interface with customers.
- Skilled in high-level audit on clinical performance and service delivery.
- Leadership and strategic planning skills.
- Strong communication, engagement, and relationship-building abilities.
- Project management experience.
- Excellent IT knowledge and ability to embrace innovative technology.
