Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Medical Services Manager. This role involves overseeing all local Medical Services activities for the Mid-Europe Cluster, including the strategic planning and execution of activities related to medical review and medical information. The successful candidate will oversee a team who are committed to medical review and information, ensuring their continuous development and compliance with applicable rules and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management and quality control of the vendor performing the DPOC service.
  • Manage processes related to medical information.
  • Ensure high-quality responses to medical inquiries.
  • Find and straighten out gaps within the medical information process.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage all processes related to (non-)promotional material review and approval.
  • Ensure accurate and prompt medical review of materials.
  • Provide compliance leadership and training to country staff.
  • Lead the team daily, including recruitment and integration of new employees.
  • Develop employees around key skills and ensure follow-up through local coaching.
  • Lead and monitor local priority activities, applying project management skills.
  • Represent the cluster in regional and global teams, meetings, and projects.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Medical degree, PhD, Pharm D, or other relevant life sciences degree.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Previous history managing, leading, and developing a team.
  • Working history in project management as well as Medical Information & Medical Review.
  • Ability to set goals, align priorities and work effectively in a changing environment.
  • Experience interacting with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage different systems related to the position.
  • Vendor management skills.
  • Understanding of ethical guidelines and regulations relating to the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency in French and English. Knowledge of Dutch or German is an advantage.
