Medical Manager Breast Cancer Germany

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Medical Manager. This role involves working closely with the Medical Director and the International Headquarters to deliver medical affairs activities. The successful candidate will provide medical information and education to healthcare professionals and medical thought leaders, initially focusing on breast cancer, with potential expansion to other tumour types. This role also includes supporting R&D, Real World Evidence (RWE) and Investigator Sponsored Trials (ISTs) in the development of genomic assays to improve oncology patient treatment decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Recognise and develop scientific relationships with thought leaders.
• Assist with the delivery of the medical affairs strategy.
• Detect data gaps in clinical utility and act as a contact for investigators to develop and perform studies with the company's commercially available assays.
• Deliver national and regional advisory boards when external advice is needed.
• Provide clinical presentations and information in response to unsolicited questions in academic, community and healthcare provider settings.
• Develop and execute plans in alignment with regional plans of action.
• Assist in R&D initiated studies, as required.
• Provide scientific and medical updates as well as presentations in local reimbursement discussions.
• Support medical congresses for appropriate educational initiatives.
• Deliver medical training and clinical updates to company stakeholders.
• Assure compliance with relevant corporate and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide feedback and medical input to local commercial plans and strategies.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Medical, Pharmaceutical or Health Science. Medical Doctor or PhD is an advantage.
• Proven industry experience working in Medical Affairs.
• Therapeutic clinical experience is desired.
• Expertise in Oncology and in breast/GI/lung cancer is a plus.
• Extensive experience in managing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Excellent English and German language skills.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to independently deliver quality results in a timely manner.
• Collaborative within teams; uses resources carefully and can build a great place to work and grow.
• Be able to manage though complexity and ambiguity.
