Manufacturing Associate, Cell and Gene Therapy - Contract - Philadelphia PA

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Associate for Cell and Gene Therapy.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role focuses on the manufacturing of Master and Working Cell Banks and performing activities within production facilities to support the manufacture of Cell & Gene Therapy products. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of regulatory compliance and experience in aseptic techniques and cGMP.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Associates' or a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a scientific field alongside with relevant working experience
  • Experience performing cell culture
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques
  • Ability to work in a Lab setting with Biohazards and various other chemicals
  • Ability to wear appropriate PPE as required
  • Solid understanding of Good Laboratory Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices

The Manufacturing Associate for Cell and Gene Therapy's responsibilities will be:

  • Manage and keep an eye on the overall performance of aseptic technique ensuring compliance with standards
  • Train, coach and mentor others on basic aseptic operational techniques
  • Identify aseptic technique gaps and implement improvements
  • Operate and maintain equipment, perform complex troubleshooting
  • Support sourcing and purchasing of standard, new, and complex equipment
  • Perform solution and material preparation, analyze results and resolve issues
  • Participate in and perform technical transfer activities
  • Execute in-house and offsite validation activities, provide input and review validation documentation
  • Schedule, receive and organize materials, perform material procurement activities
  • Follow compliance and regulatory requirements and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
  • Author and improve the efficiency and execution of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Records (BRs)
  • Train others on SOPs, equipment, all unit operations and non-manufacturing SOPs and systems
  • Lead and oversee the manufacturing process

Compensation:

  • $21 - $26 per hour
