Location: Belgium

Proclinical is seeking a Head of R&D and PV Vendor Quality to lead and manage quality assurance activities associated with global vendors engaged in GLP, GCP, and GVP activities. This role focuses on ensuring compliance, quality by design, and risk minimization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Vendor Quality Leads and ensuring processes and systems are in place to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.

Responsibilities:

Lead and coach a team of Vendor Quality Leads (VQL).
Develop and implement strategic quality objectives.
Maintain and develop lean processes, systems, and tools for VQL activities.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and vendor quality counterparts.
Ensure compliance with GxP regulations and internal procedures.
Design and oversee vendor qualification methodologies.
Manage quality issues, audits, and inspections related to vendor activities.
Coordinate inspection readiness and act as a liaison with vendors.
Conduct analytics and qualitative assessments to monitor performance.
Provide expert QA advice and support for technical and operational matters.
Deliver presentations to peers, senior management, and industry audiences.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
Proficient in GLP, GCP, and related regulations.
Experience in quality auditing, inspection, and compliance management.
Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with statistical programs, SAP, and Veeva is an asset.
Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex data.
Excellent planning, organizational, presentation, training, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to drive collaboration and engagement across a global matrix organization.
Skilled in influencing and motivating others to achieve results.
Capable of prioritizing and focusing on critical issues using a risk-based approach.
