FP&A Manager Responsibilities
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budget plans and financial projections.
- Create financial models and scenarios to assess potential investments, revenue streams, and cost-saving measures.
- Monitor financial performance, identifying discrepancies and offering insightful analysis.
- Aid in crafting reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports to management, highlighting key insights and proposing actions.
- Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and offer actionable suggestions to enhance financial performance.
- Work closely with all departments to provide financial guidance and support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Assist in preparing financial data for external audits and regulatory submissions.
- Conduct training sessions on finance-related topics, programs, and initiatives.
- Oversee the collection, validation, and maintenance of financial data for accuracy and consistency, while maintaining the Finance & Accounting system (Sage) to ensure real-time accuracy.
FP&A Manager Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Background in biopharma/life sciences.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis, including MS Excel and financial software applications.
- Ability to communicate financial, business, and commercial messages effectively in oral and written formats, tailoring content to different audiences, including the Senior Leadership Team, C-suite, and investors.
- Analytical and adaptable thinking.

- Detail-oriented, analytical, and solution-driven mindset.
- Adaptability and willingness to take ownership of tasks and achieve results.
