Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to join a Medical Device company in the Middle - South Netherlands. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service and support for medical devices in the respiratory field. You will be responsible for customer repairs, scheduled preventive maintenance, and product installations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs according to company standards in a timely manner.
- Complete necessary documentation for repairs in compliance with the quality system.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting, including activity and customer reports.
- Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment.
- Manage car stock efficiently to support customers.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with other departments and colleagues.
- Assist the sales team with technical support and product promotion.
- Conduct technical training as requested.
- Provide on-call emergency cover nationally as needed.
- Comply with all elements of the quality system and escalate quality or patient safety concerns appropriately.
- Travel within the Netherlands and internationally as required.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Background in biomedical engineering or a similar technical discipline.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications; knowledge of SAP, JDE, and Servicemax is advantageous.
- Fluency in English and Dutch.
- Strong understanding of medical device products and systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Flexibility, initiative, and a sense of responsibility.
- Good organizational skills and teamwork abilities.
- Affinity with PC/software/server and IT security.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with quality management systems (EN46001, EN13485).
