Equipment Validation Engineer

This is a 12 month contract with a likelihood of extension after that. The rate for this position is $50-$75 an hour dependent on experience.This is a great opportunity to secure a long-term contracting role, get a great industry name on your resume and work alongside some fantastic consultants.
My client is a market leader when it comes to the pharmaceutical space due to their global presence in the industry. They will be undergoing a large scale validation project in Q3 of this year and require a validation engineer to assist with the recommissioning of some equipment which include, but are not limited to, lyophilizers, autoclaves, and fermentors. The job duties will include initial analysis of the companies equipment validation needs and based on these needs appropriately writing and executing validation protocols, as well as,conducting periodic review of equipment.
Candidates for this position must have the following skills and experience:
- Experience in re-qualification and validation for equipment
- Equipment Validation experience (writing, editing and executing protocols)
- Specific equipment experience (Fermentors, Autoclaves, Lyophilizer)
- Nice to have (Tanks, sealers, isolators)
- Maintaining current state of equipment
- Conducting periodic review of equipment
- Coaching / monitoring of Junior validation staff
- Quality and Validation documentation experience
- Looking for a senior consultant, minimum of 5 years of experience
