Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and experienced Epileptologist Consultant for a remote contract position. This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of gene therapies for rare genetic diseases. The successful candidate will work closely with investigators and provide medical expertise in the execution of clinical trials. This position requires a minimum commitment of three days per week and includes up to 25% travel within the US for conferences.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary contact for investigators, providing medical information as needed.
Attend and participate in conferences, involving travel within the US.
Contribute to drug development processes, including study design and inclusion criteria.
Understand and apply knowledge of different types of epilepsy, with a focus on Temporal Lobe Epilepsy (TLE).
Review and discuss MRIs or EEGs with physicians.
Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), investigators, and site staff.
Interpret pre-screening results with investigators.
Provide medical oversight in internal and external meetings.
Participate in the setup and management of an adjudication board.
Assist in the execution of clinical trials.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Medical Doctor, board-certified Epileptologist.
Experience in clinical development, clinical research, or medical affairs within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
