Proclinical is seeking a Diagnostic Liaison with a biopharmaceutical company located in New York, Boston, and Philadelphia.
The Diagnostic Liaison will be responsible for the promotion of assigned product indications, building awareness of the necessity for timely diagnostic testing to enable optimal disease identification and treatment throughout the patient journey.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Diagnostic National Director in the development and implementation of the national diagnostic strategy for the assigned current and future product indications.
- Develop and deliver the Diagnostic Plan and ensure that it is integrated into the Brand Plan under effective cross functional work (marketing, access, medical, sales):
- Help plan and develop educational materials and support messages aligned with the company's pathology testing strategy
- Manage and control for the assigned budget, identifying deviations from the plan and proposing contingencies
- Deliver diagnostic related educational initiatives including meetings, exhibitions, congresses/symposia, digital activities, in collaboration with field sales.
- Act as a reference person for KOLs in patient's diagnostic pathway as well as of the national societies for the assigned product indications
- Design the client / account segmentation strategy necessary to support the implementation of action plans.
- Support the Diagnostic National Director in shaping the national diagnostic strategy and defined the tactics for assigned brand indications by ensuring adequate interpretation of market insights.
- Support the Diagnostic National Director in developing improvement plans for diagnostic related performance (Diagnostic KPIs).
- Ensure in-market diagnostics and testing excellence for all assigned product indication launches.
- Support testing by improving the testing environment
- Identify issues, in collaboration with cross functional team, in current testing landscape and working with external stakeholders to develop solutions to remove or minimize diagnostic barriers to therapy use, e.g., by optimizing testing pathways.
- Utilize diagnostics related evidence for medical education activity (e.g., medical evidence, real-world evidence and epidemiology) and identify evidence gaps to bridge.
- Develop collaborative partnerships with diagnostic companies, lab networks, KOLs and HCPs in order to remove barriers to testing.
- Build capability in internal and external stakeholders
- Act as an educational resource and as Dx reference to internal colleagues, for the assigned product indications:
- Develop diagnostic expertise in cross-functional team i.e. Marketing, Medical, Sales, Market Access & Government Affairs
- Engage with, lead and partner with all members of the commercial cross-functional team on all diagnostic related activities to ensure products launch readiness and optimal launch of therapy
- Act as subject matter expert for stakeholders in Pathology and Oncology and for KOLs for assigned product indications
- Be Compliant
- Successfully complete all training requirements including product examinations.
- Comply with all external laws and regulations and internal policies.
- Ensure compliance with all internal company policies.
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical/biologic/diagnostic experience specific experience in hematology/oncology preferred.
- Proven sales track record in the relevant product line.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills in Excel, Word and Outlook and CRMs.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- While performing the functions of this position, the individual must be able to frequently sit, stand, walk and drive a vehicle for an extended period of time.
- Travel is required to customer sites, including overnight travel that will vary depending on territory. Minimum expected travel is 50%+
- Must be fluent in English and able to speak, read and write the same.
- Must be able to complete a series of inoculations as required to access healthcare facilities.
- Ability to travel by car or public transportation as needed.
