Clinical Supply Chain Planner - Contract - Cambridge, MA

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and proactive Clinical Supply Chain Supply Planner.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role involves supporting various programs and protocols, interacting with both internal and external stakeholders, and managing logistical activities related to packaging, labeling, shipment and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn and a sense of urgency to meet program needs.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience with CGMP and CGCP is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with software programs including Microsoft Project, Power Point, MS Project, Interactive Response Technology (IRT) and Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.

The Clinical Supply Chain Planner's responsibilities will be:

  • Collaborate with Clinical Operation/Study team to create forecasts for assigned studies and programs.
  • Support country logistics for shipping and importation on assigned studies or programs.
  • Regularly monitor drug expiry and maintain appropriate inventory levels across assigned clinical programs.
  • Oversee packaging requirements for assigned programs and protocols.
  • Monitor enrollment, drop-out rates and actual supply needs on assigned protocols and programs.
  • Continuously reassess project needs on assigned programs and protocols.
  • Lead label creation and approval process, including translations for all countries, on assigned studies and/or programs.
  • Support return and destruction of Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) from sites to depots for assigned studies.
  • Interface with other members of the Clinical Supply Chain to provide and obtain information and ensure on-time delivery of assigned studies.
  • Perform inventory checks and manage inventory levels and cycle count at the vendor yearly on assigned studies.
  • Manage temperature excursions during transportation on assigned studies.
