Clinical Services Manager - South West UK (Field Based)

Proclinical is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to join our expanding team. This role focuses on meeting the clinical and commercial needs of the territory, increasing appropriate referrals, and sustaining patients on our products. The successful candidate will interact with various healthcare professionals, motivate, educate, train, support, and challenge customers to ensure optimal therapy initiation. This role covers the Southwest of the United Kingdom; including Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Bristol and Cheltenham.
Responsibilities:
- Promote the benefits of insulin pump therapy and the Omnipod Insulin Management System to providers and patients.
- Establish and leverage peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals to position Omnipod therapy appropriately.
- Work with key decision-makers and stakeholders to improve service provision and patient flows.
- Manage patient trainings with clinics and conduct training based on business needs.
- Communicate patient eligibility pathways for Omnipod within the territory.
- Provide regular product demonstrations to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with field sales, Inside Sales, Customer Care, and Market Access teams to achieve initiation and retention goals.
- Provide insights on customers and feedback useful information to internal teams.
- Maintain training records in Salesforce and update account plans as required.
- Assist with group events such as pump clinics, support groups, info sessions, and educational events.
- Assist with product training for new Sales and Clinical hires.
- Maintain up-to-date diabetes clinical and NHS knowledge.
- Perform administrative duties in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Certifications such as Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), Registered Dietitian (RD) are required.
- Ability to demonstrate commercial acumen.
- High-level influencing skills.
- Professional and effective presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Resilient and flexible, requiring minimal direction.
- High business acumen with the ability to make commercial decisions.
- Strong teamworking capability.
- Credibility within the diabetes community and an existing clinical network.
- Proficient in working with computers and digital platforms.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly within the assigned geographic area.
