Clinical Research Nurse C - Contract - Philadelphia, PA
Proclinical is working alongside a Research Institute seeking a Clinical Research Nurse C focused on Infectious Diseases. In this role, you will implement research protocols related to HIV, COVID-19, and other infectious diseases. You will manage patient care, collect medical histories, perform physical assessments, and complete patient visits according to protocol specifications. You will also administer investigational products, procure laboratory specimens, conduct complex evaluations, and complete necessary documentation.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will need flexibility in scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and daytime visits, with some evaluations conducted via phone.
Education/Years of Experience
- Must have a Valid RN License in the State of PA
- 5-7 years of Research Experience
Onsite Requirements
- 5 days onsite Monday-Friday
- There may be an opportunity to work 1 day from home if schedule permits
The Clinical Research Nurse C's responsibilities will be:
- Management of very complex evaluations.
- The nurse will be expected to conduct studies involving a wide variety of investigational products and various sponsors.
- This area of research requires dedicated attention and care to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- The nurse is responsible for arranging and setting up appointments for procedures in other departments when necessary.
- The nurse is also responsible for the collection of a variety of specimens.
